What are Real Estate A-Frames?
Real estate A-frames consist of a collapsible steel frame and a 24” x 18” coroplast sign. They are commonly used on sidewalks and streets to direct traffic and would-be buyers to your real estate listings. The free-hanging coroplast is fully customizable and can feature the same design on both sides or different messages for each side (great for directional purposes).
Real estate A-frames are one of the most versatile signs in the real estate industry. The lightweight and collapsible frame makes them easy to transport and store. The coroplast graphic is easy and inexpensive to swap out for different listings or events. Gain even more exposure by purchasing multiple of these affordable real estate signs.

Product Specs
How are Real Estate A-Frames different from your Standard Real Estate Frame?
Our Real Estate A-Frames measure 29.5” x 33” and can hold a primary sign measuring 24” x 18” (plus a smaller rider sign and a flag pole with pennant). They can be positioned on just about any surface - paved or grass/soil - and be used indoors as well as outdoors. A Standard Real Estate Frame, on the other hand, is a 24” x 47” metal frame that can contain a primary 24” x 18” sign as well as one or two smaller sign riders. It's specifically designed to be placed into solid ground or grass; the bottom of its legs are pointed, so it cannot be utilized on paved surfaces (concrete, asphalt, stones, bricks, etc.) nor on indoor flooring surfaces.
How are your Real Estate A-Frames different from a standard yard sign?
Is this the same thing as a 'tent frame'?
Yes, A-Frames are often referred to as "tent frames" because they have a tent-like shape when the collapsible steel frame is opened for display.
What sizes of Real Estate A-Frames are available? What size is the sign?
Our Real Estate A-Frame measures 29.5" x 33" (w x h) and is 3" thick; it is the only size A-Frame we sell. The corresponding A-Frame sign measures 24" x 18" (w x h), the ideal size for the A-Frame.
What material is the Real Estate A-Frame made from? What about the sign?
The Real Estate A-Frame is made of heavy-duty steel with an enamel coating to ward off rust. The A-Frame sign is made of corrugated plastic ("coroplast"), 4mm thick – this material is both weather-resistant, moisture-resistant, and impact-resistant, and it's also easy to clean.
How heavy is the A-Frame?
Can I use different materials for my A-Frame sign?
We recommend our standard corrugated plastic signage because of how well it holds up in exterior environments. However, aluminum would serve as a good substitute if you prefer something even more durable – our aluminum signs are a "sandwich" of two aluminum sheets mated to a polyethylene core.
How do you print your Real Estate A-Frame signs?
Can I order a double-sided A-Frame sign? Does the graphic have to be the same on each side?
I'm looking for a custom-shape for my Real Estate A-Frame, can you do that?
The Real Estate A-Frame sign only comes in the standard rectangular shape. This ensures that the sign will fit and function properly with your Real Estate A-Frame.
What are grommets? Why are they included with my sign?
Grommets are small metal rings (typically brass) that are used to reinforce the holes we drill in the sign. In this case, they help ensure that the zip ties used to hang the sign from the top of the A-Frame won't be abraded by the sign's corrugated plastic material.
Is there an additional charge for printing multiple colors?
No, we don't charge extra for our full-color printing – whether your sign design has just 1- or 2-colors or if it more resembles the Crayola 64 box, it will be the same price.
Is the frame itself available in a different color?
Usage
How do I attach my sign to the A-Frame?
It's easy to attach the sign: Just insert the included zip ties through the sign's grommets, around the frame's top, and close the ties. When closing the ties, leave some space between the sign and the frame – the sign should be able to hang freely and move with the wind.
What is the Real Estate A-Frame's expected lifespan?
Because it's made of heavy-duty, coated steel – hence, rustproof – your Real Estate A-Frame should have an extended lifespan under normal usage and conditions. We believe it will see you through many, many listings before you have to replace it!
What are the common uses for a Real Estate A-Frame? Can I use my A-Frame for something besides real estate?
Real estate professionals commonly use A-Frames because they're so portable and transportable. They're easily placed in and removed from even small vehicles, and they can be positioned on just about any surface, inside and outside. So they're ideal for guiding prospective buyers to your real estate listing. That said, A-Frames can be set up indoors as well as outdoors, so they can be used for a wide range of other purposes, too: from retail and restaurant use to business trade shows, personal events (birthday parties, etc.), and much more.
What if I only want the frame – can I just buy the frame?
Yes, definitely! Go to the "Hardware Only" section and click on the "Add to Cart" button.
I already have a frame – can I just purchase the graphics/signage itself?
Of course you can! In the "Graphics Only" section above, click on the "Get Started" button under "Coroplast Signs" and you'll be able to design the perfect message for your corrugated plastic sign. If you only need riders, just click on the "Get Started" button under "Riders" to do the same.
Is any hardware included with the A-Frame?
Can I add additional small signage (rider) or flags to the Real Estate A-Frame?
Yes to both. You can easily attach a rider sign to the A-Frame via the provided rider clamp; just tighten the tension screw to keep the rider in place. And the built-in flag-holder cup enables you to quickly add a pole and flag/pennant.
What other real-estate signs do you offer?
We offer an array of signage specifically aimed at the real-estate market: our Standard Metal Real Estate Frames (in three versions: Standard, Single Rider, and Double Rider); Riders (corrugated, rigid plastic, and aluminum); Flags (feather, teardrop, rectangle, and angled); Custom Plastic A-Frames; Yard Signs; and Real Estate Posts. Installation & Care
How do I install a Real Estate A-Frame?
Installing a Real Estate A-Frame is simple: Just place the A-Frame on the ground, then attach the sign by inserting the zip ties (included) through the sign's grommets and around the top of the frame. Close the ties, but be sure to leave some space between the sign and the frame – you want the sign to hang freely and be able to move with the wind.
To add a rider, simply place it in the rider clamp at the top of the frame, then tighten the tension screw. You can also add a pole with a flag: Place the pole with attached flag into the included flag holder cup on the side of the A-Frame; it will be held in place by the interior lip at the bottom of the cup and its snug fit.
Can I use the Real Estate A-Frame in bad weather? Will it rust? Do I have to anchor it to withstand wind?
Weighing in at 5.5 lbs., our A-Frame is made of heavy-duty, coated steel and is rust-resistant; the sign itself adds another ½ lb. (approximately) to the total weight. So, low to moderate winds should pose no problems for the A-Frame. But if heavy winds are forecast – or if you're going to position it in high-traffic areas where wind gusts might be generated – then you might want to place sandbags on the bottom of the frame to add some weight for stability.
How do I care for my Real Estate A-Frame?
The "care and feeding" of your Real Estate A-Frame involves just occasionally wiping down its steel construction with a damp cloth/rag; there's no need to use any kind of cleaning solution, nor should it require any other maintenance. Clean the corrugated plastic sign using a spray bottle and a wet cloth or rag – this should take care of dirt, mud, or road/traffic spray that it might encounter.
What's the best way to store a Real Estate A-Frame?
If you've kept the box the Real Estate A-Frame was shipped in, storing it there is recommended; then simply place on a shelf or stand against a wall. Avoid placing any heavy objects on the A-Frame when storing it. Be sure to remove the sign, header, and/or flag and pole when storing your A-Frame and store these separately. For storage of your corrugated plastic sign, store at room temperature in a dry location (avoid extremely hot and/or humid environments); don't bend or attempt to roll the sign.
